WESTLAKE, Ohio (Sept. 25, 2013) — TravelCenters of America L.L.C. (TA) has released an update to its free TruckSmart Mobile App.
The update provides professional truck drivers with new developments, including a "quick and easy-to-use Feedback feature for reporting concerns and praising locations and employees," according to the operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands,
TruckSmart's update also enables drivers to see their six most recent transactions at TA and Petro locations, and access and download a PDF receipt for the transactions. Additionally, each location's phone and fax numbers on the individual site amenities pages have been added—at the request of drivers and fleets, Westlake-based TA said.
"With more and more drivers and fleets turning to smartphone technology for help with managing their jobs and businesses, we continue to add more features to our TruckSmart app to make their interactions with TA and Petro more efficient," said Tom O'Brien, TA's president and CEO. "With the new feedback form, a driver can provide information regarding his or her experiences at our sites with just a few taps or clicks.
"All of these feedback submissions are then routed through our regular customer service channels, where they are immediately reviewed and resolved, with a customer response provided by email or phone, whatever the driver prefers."
