GREENVILLE, Mich. (Sept. 18, 2013) — Belle Tire opened its newest store, a retail outlet in Greenville, on Aug. 30 and has retail stores in Lapeer, Grand Blanc and Fort Gratiot scheduled to open in the next couple of months.
The Greenville store is the dealership's ninth in the greater Grand Rapids, Mich., area, Belle Tire said, and 85th retail store overall. The new store covers 10,000 square feet and has 10 service bays, including two full alignment pits, the dealership said, which is typical of most Belle Tire retail outlets.
The store has warehousing for 3,000 tires and offers auto parts and custom wheel warehousing as well. Belle Tire did not disclose its investment in the new store.
Ryan Kovich, a six-year Belle Tire employee, is the new store's manager, overseeing a team of 13 employees, including three auto and eight tire technicians.
The Lapeer store is scheduled to open in October, while the Grand Blanc and Fort Gratiot stores should open in November.
The new stores are in addition to five stores opened last year and are part of a broader expansion and modernization program Belle Tire is carrying out this year.
Allen Park, Mich.-based Belle Tire also operates two retail/commercial centers, three commercial-only centers and two retread plants.
