DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2013) — The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) will provide "qualified buyers" at this year's SEMA Show special perks to help them navigate and do business more efficiently during the Nov. 5-8 event in Las Vegas.
SEMA said it will extend its Member Buyer Rewards (MBR) program to qualified buyers this year, providing them access to a priority taxi line, a complimentary one-way ticket for the Las Vegas Monorail, reserved seating at a number of special events, and entry into an exclusive lounge area that includes complimentary coffee, water and snacks.
"As a trade association, SEMA is committed to supporting its members and helping them be more successful at their businesses," said Gary Vigil, SEMA director of membership.
The MBR program includes:
- Access to the MBR Lounge (located in the SEMA Members Lounge in the North Hall, room N251), featuring complimentary coffee, water and snacks available Tuesday–Friday during Show hours, and happy hour Tuesday through Thursday from 4-5 p.m. and Friday from 3-4 p.m.
- Dedicated MBR taxi line with expedited service, available in front of the Central and South Halls Tuesday through Thursday from 2-5 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m.
- One complimentary, one-way monorail ticket for each of the first 500 member buyers; tickets are available at the MBR Lounge.
- Reserved seating for the SEMA New Product Awards Breakfast (Tuesday) and the NHRA Breakfast (Wednesday); tickets are required and space is limited.
SEMA said MBR cards will be mailed to pre-registered member buyers in mid-October. Those who have not received their badges will be able to pick them up in the MBR Lounge during show hours.
