CYPRESS, Calif.—Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. has promoted Tomoshige “Tomo” Mizutani, president of Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. since 2005, to president of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. (TTHA), and named Keiko Brockel, chief operating officer of Nitto Tire U.S.A. and president of Nitto Tire Canada Inc., to succeed Mr. Mizutani as president of Nitto Tire U.S.A.
Mr. Mizutani succeeds Noriyuki Dan, who continues as chief financial officer of TTHA. The appointments are effective Oct. 1, Cypress-based Toyo said.
Mr. Mizutani, whose career with Toyo dates back more than 20 years, also continues as a corporate officer of parent Toyo Tire & Rubber. Ms. Brockel continues as president of Nitto Canada.
Toyo Tire Holdings oversees Toyo's manufacturing, importing, sales and distribution efforts for the Toyo and Nitto brands in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Nitto is a Toyo associate brand.
