SKF said its expanded social media program will provide automotive and heavy-duty technicians and fleet managers with additional sources of product information.
YouTube videos uploaded by the company highlight everything from product information about the company's premium wheel bearings and seals to tips regarding diagnostics and proper removal and installation. The company's Twitter page is designed to connect followers to the company's latest YouTube videos and make available other technical tips and product overview information, SKF said.
"Our goal for starting a social media program is to provide customers with useful product and technical information that can be accessed anytime, anywhere, whether online at home or on a mobile device," said Brian Jungmann, marketing communications project leader, SKF. "We also encourage our social media followers to interact with us and to let us know what new information they want to receive."
