AKRON (Sept. 10, 2013) — As part of Tire Business' 30th anniversary celebration, the publication is charting new territory on social media.
TB will be holding a "Twitter party"—and you're invited.
We've collected a team of seven industry experts whose experience covers a range of issues. Pat Sandone, president and CEO of Net Driven, Pam Oakes, owner of Pam's Motor City Auto and Tire Center, Alpio Barbara, owner of Redwood General Tire, Barry Steinberg, CEO of Direct Tire and Auto Service, Peggy Fisher, president of TireStamp Inc., Kathy McCarron, Tire Business reporter, and Bruce Davis, Tire Business special projects reporter, will answer your questions during our one hour Twitter party 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16.
A Twitter Party is a fast and fun virtual party that uses the Twitter platform. These events typically last 1-2 hours and are a way for people to connect and discuss a topic. Most Twitter parties have an expert panelist and party host to keep the party on topic.
To participate, just use the hashtag #TireBusiness30 with your question, or e-mail [email protected] asking anything that you would like answered. Questions we've gotten so far cover topics such as website design, selling to women, pricing predictions and trends, resources for employee training and more.
Trends have come and gone in the past 30 years since Tire Business first began publishing—and we've tried to stay aware and on top of them. But trying new things isn't fun unless it serves a purpose for our readers.
That's why we want you to be a special guest at our "party."
