CYPRESS, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2013) — Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. has promoted Tomoshige Mizutani, president of Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. since 2005, to president of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. (TTHA).
He succeeds Noriyuki Dan, who continues as chief financial officer of TTHA.
Keiko Brockel, chief operating officer of Nitto Tire U.S.A. and president of Nitto Tire Canada Inc., will succeed Mr. Mizutani as president of Nitto Tire U.S.A. as well as continue in her position with Nitto Canada.
The appointments are effective Oct. 1, Cypress-based Toyo said.
Mr. Mizutani, whose career with Toyo dates back more than 20 years, also continues as a corporate officer of parent Toyo Tire & Rubber. Nitto is a Toyo associate brand.
Toyo Tire Holdings oversees Toyo's manufacturing, importing, sales and distribution efforts for the Toyo and Nitto brands in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
