LACONIA, N.H. (Sept. 4, 2013) — In order to meet the needs of more of its customers, Stratham Tire Inc. has extended the store hours at its Laconia location until 7 p.m.
The company, which has 18 retail and commercial locations in New Hampshire and Maine, also recently revamped its website.
The decision to extend the hours at the Laconia location was made to "be a better resource for the community," said Denise Littlefield, Stratham Tire's operations manager.
"Years ago, banks started to stay open later because it was a change that people really needed," she added. "At Stratham Tire, we feel like service for your car is the same way. Not everybody can fit a tire rotation or an oil change into their day.
"For that reason, they often end up putting these things off for far too long. This can often cause damage to vehicles that our customers would avoid otherwise," she said. "In some cases lack of proper maintenance can even cause accidents. With that in mind, we believe staying open a little later will help our customers in terms of convenience, savings, and safety."
Stratham's other retail stores are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. The Laconia store also opens a half-hour earlier than Stratham's stores, at 7:30 a.m., according to the website.
Stratham Tire's revised website features a new look, easier navigation and more focus on customer needs, such as inventory listings with pictures and specs, and online appoint scheduling, the dealership said. A search feature allows searches by vehicle, brand and size.
The site also added a blog to help inform and educate customers with tire and service information, the company said.
