ALLENTOWN, Pa. (Aug. 23, 2013) — Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket released an additional video in its professional tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) training series.
Conti said the video, entitled "Valve Stem Replacement," is narrated by Steve Landis, Continental product manager, and shows auto technicians the proper procedure for maintaining and replacing damaged VDO clamp-in TPMS sensor valve stems.
In the training video, Conti said Mr. Landis identifies which scenarios require replacement of the entire sensor and which only require replacing a specific part, using a VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-Application TPMS Sensor.
The VDO REDI-Sensor is, according to Conti, a multi-application TPMS sensor that covers more than 85 percent of all vehicles in North America with only three sensor SKUs, and replaces over 140 OE sensors.
The "Valve Stem Replacement" video, along with the rest of the REDI-Sensor TPMS Training videos, can be seen on YouTube and at the REDI-Sensor website.
