NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 21, 2013) — Automotive apparel provider Red Kap is partnering with the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) to provide show attire for the SEMA show, Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas.
SEMA said its corporate employees, show management staff and other show workers will wear Red Kap work shirts and jackets during the show. Red Kap is a division VF Imagewear Inc., which is part of Nashville-based VF Corp.
"We're thrilled to outfit the go-to association for the specialty automotive industry and think the SEMA show is a great place for our brand to connect with car guys that embody our 'Done Right' philosophy," said Chris Holcombe, vice president and general manager of Red Kap. "We've seen continued success at every show, and we're positive this creative partnership will only further that success."
Several of the styles worn by SEMA staff, including Red Kap's crew and motorsports shirts, will be available for purchase at one of six official SEMA Stores in the exhibit space, the company said.
As an official SEMA Show partner, Red Kap said it also will offer "apparel solutions" to registered SEMA exhibitors.
Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of communications and events, called the partnership with Red Kap "an innovative program that will create value for our organizations and the industry we support."
