WASHINGTON (Aug. 20, 2013) — The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has launched a website where employers can obtain information about the responsibilities they will face under the healthcare reform law.
Rolled out last week, the website offers numerous links to IRS bulletins and rules that detail the many requirements the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act imposes on employers.
The website also includes the IRS notice that details why government regulators last month delayed by one year until 2015 a key healthcare reform law provision that requires employers with at least 50 full-time employees to either offer qualified coverage or pay a hefty fine.
