CINCINNATI (Aug. 16, 2013) — Tire Discounters Inc. is pushing forward with its "store of the future" expansion, opening one new-format store on the east side of Cincinnati and readying a second one to open by September.
The newest store — Tire Discounters' 30th in the greater Cincinnati area and 86th overall in its three-state marketing area — is on Red Bank Road and serves the communities of Hyde Park, Oakley, Fairfax and Mount Lookout on Cincinnati's east side, the dealership said.
The second east-side store, on Five Mile Road, will serve customers in the Anderson area, according to Tire Discounters, which said its nearby Cherry Grove store will stay open as well.
Both new stores are based on Tire Discounters' open-plan design, which it debuted earlier this summer at a store in Colerain Township in northwestern metro Cincinnati.
Both stores will have roughly 10 employees and feature multiple drive-through service bays.
Tire Discounters did not disclose its investment in the new stores, which are part of the dealership's aggressive growth plans for the next few years.
