MOCKSVILLE, N.C. (Aug. 14, 2013) — TravelCenters of America L.L.C. (TA) has opened at TA Truck Service facility in Mocksville, its fifth center in North Carolina and 247th throughout North America.
The operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands said the Mocksville location, located at I-40, Exit 70, offers three service bays and is open round-the-clock.
With its addition, the Westlake-based company now operates 247 truck service facilities in 42 states and Canada under the TA and Petro names.
The company's truck centers provide light duty repair, brakes, electrical, alignment, air conditioning, preventive maintenance, inspections and RoadSquad emergency road call services. All TA and Petro:Lube centers also carry full lines of Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear and Continental tires.
"We continue to add truck service facilities at our locations in order to provide a more complete full-service offering across our network," said Tom O'Brien, TA's president and CEO. "This also allows us to have more RoadSquad emergency roadside service trucks staffed and available for our customers to help keep them rolling."
The Mocksville facility will soon begin offering Freightliner ServicePoint, an authorized express service and light-duty repair program available exclusively at TA's service centers in cooperation with Daimler Trucks North America, the company said.
