Leviathan adds giant loader tire line

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Aug. 6, 2013) — International tire distributor Leviathan Corp. has launched the Grünload line of remanufactured giant loader tires via its otrusa.com website.

The company said its development of the Grünload line — which comes in sizes 45/65R45 and 45/65R39 — is "an effort to maximize the working life of tires and seek green initiatives to promote reuse of materials.

"Representing the pinnacle of quality in retreading," according to Leviathan, Grünload tires are re-manufactured in Germany by Roesler Group using Michelin casings and a patented curing process to produce a remold "with performance on par with a new premium brand OTR tire."

Brooklyn-based Leviathan initiated service to dealers in the U.S. in June.

The pre-cure tread used in the remanufacturing process "often outperforms the working hours obtained by the original tires and gives a green second life to top quality casings," the company said.
