Trelleborg's Chinese language website provides a portal to access company information, including its global presence, its latest product innovations and technical solutions, the firm said.

TRELLEBORG, Sweden (Aug. 1, 2013) — Trelleborg Wheel Systems S.p.A. has launched a Chinese language website providing a portal to access company information, including its global presence, its latest product innovations and technical solutions.

The company, a global developer and supplier of tires and complete wheel solutions for the agricultural industry, said that in 2012 it opened a new tire plant in Xingtai, Hebei, China, to manufacture high-performance specialty tires. It claimed to be the first global company to establish a presence in China for agricultural tire production.

Paolo Pompei, business unit president, agricultural and forestry tires for Trelleborg Wheel Systems, called China "one of Trelleborg's key markets. Its high projected development over the next few years reinforces our strategy to establish a solid platform in this country."

Online, Trelleborg said it "aims to show to farming professionals the benefits of Trelleborg radial technology. In terms of performance, the high quality and superior features of Trelleborg radial tires guarantee lower soil compaction, greater traction capacity and reduced fuel consumption, thereby increasing efficiency and improving crop yield."

The firm's website is now available in 15 languages, with a local website for each market. That, Mr. Pompei said, "is definitely a key tool to reinforce our competitiveness and our brand awareness in each country, along with an active presence on the main social media channels."

The new Chinese website can be accessed through Trelleborg's website.
