WAKEFIELD, Mass. (July 24, 2013) — Alliance Tire Americas has launched an online ordering system for Alliance, Galaxy and Primex dealers.
The website allows easy ordering, tracking, product availability and invoice information with a few clicks of a mouse, the tire maker said.
"We strive to make it easy for our customers to work with us, and this website platform is a significant step in that direction," said Manny Cicero, president of Wakefield-based Alliance Tire Americas, a unit of Alliance Tire Group.
"We worked closely with off-highway tire industry experts, customers and e-commerce experts to develop a system that puts the latest technology in our customers' hands," he said. "OnlineATG.com will save our customers substantial time in checking inventory, as well as placing and tracking their orders."
Alliance Tire said onlineATG.com is linked directly to Alliance's North American warehouses to provide real-time inventory by brand, name, size, category or part number.
Other features include:
- Downloadable detailed product information, including tread design, specs and photos;
- Order history and tracking;
- Invoice and account history information; and
- A savable cart function that allows customers to build shipments that qualify for prepaid freight.
Dealers can customize their onlineATG.com setup to allow various levels of access to individual users on their account, Alliance said, from basic product data to accounts receivable information.
Mr. Cicero added that Alliance Tire's website administrator will work with its dealers to fine-tune their settings to meet their needs.
"OnlineATG.com doesn't replace direct, human contact with Alliance Tire Americas," Mr. Ciero said. "We value the person-to-person relationships that we've built with our customers—in many cases, over years or even generations.
"Your Alliance, Galaxy or Primex representative still confirms and processes every order, and remains available for help and information. OnlineATG.com just adds a tool that allows customers to work whenever, wherever and however they want—faster and more efficiently than ever."
