BOWIE, Md. (July 22, 2013) — The number of registered exhibitors for the 2013 Global Tire Expo – Powered by TIA (Tire Industry Association) exceeds the number of exhibitors present at the 2012 show by 20 percent, TIA said recently.
The annual expo, which runs concurrent with the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, takes place Nov. 5-8 in the Las Vegas Convention Center's South Hall. To date, GTE is showing an increase of 40 companies compared with the end of June last year, while net square footage of exhibit space is also up by more than 21,000 square feet, TIA said.
As of now, there are 255 tire companies from around the globe signed up to exhibit at the event. Of those, 52 are first-time exhibitors.
"To see that we have already exceeded last year's numbers just shows how excited the industry is for this year's expo," said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president.
"GTE is a gathering place for the tire industry, and there is no better place to network, see what's new and keep your business moving forward."
