One of the tool guys is selling a used box for $3500. When it was new, it cost $9,000. Is this a good deal?
"Do you need a 'newer' used box? Is your box spilling over with tools that the replacement would easily handle? Remember, a tool box doesn't make you money. Your knowledge, training and tools put that green in your wallet. But there are times that we need to protect our tool investment. If the box fits your needs with room to expand, this may be a good opportunity."
What's the difference between $100 rechargeable flashlights versus a $35 rechargeable flashlight?
"That $100 flashlight better be more than a flashlight—it should make me lunch, as well! Depending upon the brand name (Remember, we are paying for their advertising dollars when purchasing a well known product) and the options that go along with the light, the deal could be ok. But, based on personal experience, I would recommend that the light come with a warranty with that price. How many flashlights have you had? Through the decades, I personally have lost count."
