TUCUMCARI, N.M. (June 18, 2013) — Bosselman Boss Truck Shops Inc. has opened a Boss Shop truck repair location in Tucumcari — its second in New Mexico and 41st overall.
The new truck stop, located adjacent to the Flying J Travel Plaza at Exit 33 on Interstate 40, is part of Goodyear's Uni-Maxx Truck Care network, with more than 80 network locations nationwide.
The Tucumcari location is the latest in a series of Boss Truck Shops to open on a Flying J Travel property since Bosselman and Pilot Flying J struck a deal in November 2011 covering 20 such cooperative projects.
Bosselman said the Tucumcari Boss Shop is its second green-field construction.
"Our new ground-up shops feature a new look to greet drivers," said Charlie Bosselman, president of Bosselman Companies and Boss Truck Shops Inc., "while offering the same hometown service experience."
He added that Bosselman is seeking to fulfill trucking fleets' and independent operators' need for repair facilities they can trust to do their over-the-road work for them.
The new location is managed by David Arellano.
Bosselman Boss Shops also are part of the Michelin Commercial Service Network, including the Michelin ONCall emergency road-service.
