DULUTH, Ga. (June 17, 2013) — Tractor maker AGCO Corp. and Trelleborg Wheel Systems S.p.A. have renewed their 12-year-old global supply agreement, which covers cooperative development of agricultural tires.
The agreement renewal "provides a firm foundation for the accomplishment of our ambitious future mutual goals," said Stefano Bettinelli, OE director, Trelleborg Agricultural and Forestry Tires.
Bertrand Blampey, global commodity manager, axles and tires at AGCO, stated: "This new agreement perfectly matches AGCO's strategy focusing on quality, sustainability, innovation and customer satisfaction."
Trelleborg supplies tires and wheels to AGCO, the Duluth-based maker of tractors, combines and other farm implement equipment under the Massey-Ferguson, Fendt, GSI, Challenger and Valtra brand names. It distributes products in more than 140 countries.
AGCO recognized Trelleborg last September as the best supplier in its Europe, Africa and Middle East region.
