AKRON (June 3, 2013) — Tire Business is offering a free webinar to help small businesses understand how to use LinkedIn and YouTube to brand their company.
The webinar will be at 10 a.m. EDT on June 12. The speaker for the series is Tire Business Reporter Jennifer Karpus; Alaina Scott, Tire Business online manager, will moderate.
This will be the final free webinar in the three-part social media series aimed at helping persons in the tire industry use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube to make their businesses more social media savvy.
Attendees have responded well to Tire Business' series. "You are definitely covering a great need in the industry!" said one attendee following the second webinar on how to use Twitter.
Ms. Karpus said the goal of the three-part series is to show how the websites work, common uses of the sites, as well as show attendees how to form a strategy to promote their businesses. From the LinkedIn/YouTube webinar, attendees will learn how to create a YouTube channel for their brand, see examples of industry videos used for marketing, and find out how to overcome some common confusion when using YouTube. Attendees also will learn how to find ideal candidates on LinkedIn—a primarily business-oriented site—and groups related to their industries.
