AMERICAN FORK, Utah (May 14, 2013) — AutoNetTV Media Inc., a producer of automotive service and repair video content for shop waiting rooms, said the first quarter of 2013 was the best sales quarter in the company's history.
The American Fork-based company had 684 new subscriptions in the first quarter involving its Digital Lobby TV, Digital Menu Board and Web Tools products. In the year-ago quarter the company generated 298 new subscriptions. For the full year of 2012, the company said it garnered 997 new subscriptions.
"We've made a significant investment in all areas of the company to develop leading edge content, cost-effective content delivery and a great customer experience. And we're very excited about the new products we have under development," said Bobby Cannon, director of sales.
AutoNetTV also produces custom video and animation for outside companies in the automotive industry and the number of these projects have doubled for this year, compared with last year, the company said.
AutoNetTV combines entertainment pieces from CBS, SPEED and others TV networks with independent editorial content to promote preventative maintenance services. The monthly program is approximately four hours long and provides options for companies to integrate their branded messages within the existing AutoNetTV programming content.
The Digital Menu Boards provide short videos and animations on typical menu items. AutoNetTV said it has 2,985 subscribers for its lobby TV and menu boards.
AutoNetTV Web Tools offer search optimized consumer education video content for auto service centers' websites and point of sale. AutoNetTV said it currently has 1,523 current subscriptions for its Web Tools product.
