FALLS CHURCH, Va. (May 2, 2013) — The Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau (TRIB) has added two new members to its board of directors following the scheduled end of terms for two existing members.

Joining the TRIB board May 1 were Mel Mitchell, vice president of manufacturing for Colony Tire Corp., and Ken Samborsky, Kal Tire's OTR plant operation coordinator.
"Mel and Ken are two great additions to our board and further round out a 16-strong board that fully represents the retread and repair industries," said TRIB President Brian Hayes. "I look forward to working with them on the TRIB board."
Mr. Hayes also thanked outgoing board members Bob Majewski and Garry Heintschel "for their dedication and service to the TRIB board over the years."
