BURTON UPON TRENT, England (May 2, 2013) — A Pirelli-equipped Williams Formula1 car was a popular attraction at the recent Kwik-Fit UK annual conference.
More than 1,000 employees of the tire, automotive parts, repair and replacement chain played a "pit stop challenge" simulation game to win Pirelli F1 merchandise and clothing.
Roger Griggs, communications director at UK-based Kwik-Fit, a subsidiary of Itochu Corp., said that "with a very packed schedule, our exhibitor partners have to work hard to grab people's attention. Pirelli's F1 simulator provided great interest and entertainment throughout the day and certainly got everyone's adrenalin pumping.
"Meanwhile, the Pirelli team provided very useful updates on their product line-up."
