AKRON (April 19, 2013) — The editors of Tire Business would like to remind all private brand marketers and importers of offshore manufacturers' brands that the submission deadline for Tire Business' annual brand marketers' directory is this week.
Tire Business research indicates there are more than 350 tire brands in North America from which consumers can choose – and the end of elevated tariffs last year on Chinese-sourced tires has led to a surge in new brands.
Tire Business will devote a share of its May 13 issue to stories about tire brands and branding, including comprehensive directories of private branders, import brand marketers and tire company-owned brands and a brand/marketer cross-reference.
The editors of Tire Business sent surveys in mid-March to more than 150 companies in North America identified as marketers/distributors of private, import, flag and/or associate brands.
