ATLANTA (April 17, 2013) — Automotive service equipment supplier Greg Smith Equipment Sales Inc. has relocated its Norcross, Ga., showroom/distribution center to Atlanta.
The Indianapolis-based company said the 55,000- sq.-ft. Atlanta facility, at 2375 Button Gwinnett Drive, Suite 100, has a showroom with working equipment on display, as does each of its locations. Owner Greg Smith told Tire Business the company had been in the Norcross location for more than five years and had outgrown its 30,000 square feet. The Atlanta location "provides greater (easier) access for customers," he said.
The company operates seven brick-and-mortar locations nationwide — in Atlanta; Newark, Del.; Indianapolis; Phoenix; Hudson, N.H.; Austin, Texas; and Miami — that are stocked with equipment that can either be picked up or shipped.
Greg Smith Equipment, in business for more than 30 years, said it is the largest distributor of Atlas automotive aftermarket equipment in the world. The company handles lifts, alignment equipment, tire changers, wheel balancers and shop equipment for the automotive and tire industries, as well as for homeowners.
