ARLINGTON, Va. (April 17, 2013) — The American Trucking Associations (ATA) has named Jeff Mason to the newly created position of senior vice president of image and communications.
ATA President and CEO Bill Graves said Mr. Mason's "passion and knowledge of this industry will be a great compliment to ATA. Jeff is well known throughout the trucking industry and is respected by trucking industry executives—both on the operational side and within the allied community."
Mr. Mason comes to ATA after 26 years with Randall-Reilly Publishing Co. L.L.C., where he helped build and lead the company's trucking media division, including its various publications, events, conferences and data services. At ATA he will be responsible for shaping the group's communications and image strategies, "ensuring that the organization conveys a consistent message and speaks with one voice," as well as managing special projects and future events, the ATA said.
The ATA is the largest national trade association for the trucking industry, with a federation of 50 affiliated state trucking associations and industry-related conferences and councils.
