NORWELL, Mass. (April 16, 2013) — Environmental services company Clean Harbors Inc. has named Jerry E. Correll president of its Safety-Kleen Environmental Services subsidiary.
Mr. Correll had been serving as Clean Harbors' executive vice president of environmental sales. He replaces Robert Craycraft, who has resigned "to pursue other opportunities," the company said.
Norwell-based Clean Harbors acquired Safety-Kleen—which specializes in used oil recycling and re-refining, parts washing and other environmental services—in a $1.25 billion acquisition late in 2012.
"Jerry's background and industry experience make him ideally suited to lead our Safety-Kleen business," Alan S. McKim, Clean Harbors CEO, said in a statement. "Over the past 11 years he has taken on progressively larger roles at Clean Harbors, demonstrating strong leadership at every level."
Mr. Correll spent more than 15 years at Safety-Kleen, serving as regional vice president, vice president of corporate accounts and senior vice president of sales, before joining Clean Harbors in 2002, according to his company bio. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee and law degrees from the Nashville School of Law.
