FAIRFIELD, Calif. (April 2, 2013) — East Bay Tire Co. has added three tires to its private label Dawg Pound line.
The Fairfield-based distributor's newest additions are to its Farm Dawg agriculture and Top Dawg grader tire series. The new front implement and grader tire sizes will be available this summer.
Joining the Farm Dawg lineup are two new front implement tires: an I-1, best suited for soft soil and light transport applications, with an extra wide footprint for increased carrying capacity; and an I-3, featuring an aggressive lug design and an open curve tread design for improved self-cleanout, according to East Bay.
For the construction line, the company is offering its Top Dawg grader tire in a larger size, 16.00-24; it features a reinforced sidewall and self-cleaning tread design for improved traction.
"We're excited about growing our line. Our customers know the Dawg Pound brand is about durability and quality, and with these new additions, we're giving our customers what they're looking for," said George Pehanick, East Bay CEO.
The new Farm Dawg front implement tires will each come in three sizes and will be available in June, while the new Top Dawg grader tire size will follow later.
Founded in 1946, East Bay is a fourth generation, family-owned wholesaler, exporter and commercial dealership.
