Yokohama dealers and their store personnel will be testing four different Yokohama tires this year on Scion FR-S sports coupes.

FULLERTON, Calif. (April 1, 2013) — Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) will stage a dozen more stops across the U.S. this year of its "Ride & Drive Training Program," after kicking off the annual dealer personnel training event last week in Albuquerque.

At each event, Yokohama dealers' personnel will test drive Scion FR-S cars equipped with the tire maker's Avid Ascend, Avid ENVigor, S.drive and Advan Neova AD08 tires on a variety of slalom courses, according to Fred Koplin, YTC director, marketing communications.

"One of our primary objectives is to interact with our dealer network and help them sell more Yokohama tires," Mr. Koplin said.

"This annual program is an important tool to help educate dealers and prepare them to engage consumers. It also encourages dealers to share personal experiences about the benefits of Yokohama tires."

YTC anticipates training more than 1,500 individuals through this program. This is the 10th year of these events, YTC said.

    The remaining tour stops are:
