Trelleborg OTR shipment from China "fair value'

Comments Email
WASHINGTON—A shipment of off-road tires into the U.S. by Trelleborg Wheel Systems (Xinghai) China Co. Ltd. was at normal value, according to preliminary findings in a routine Commerce Department antidumping review.

Under the Tariff Act of 1930, the Commerce Department's International Trade Administration must conduct a “new shipper” review of all products imported to the U.S.

Because China is a non-market economy, Commerce calculated the value of the Trelleborg tires against that of OTR tires imported from Indonesia, a significant producer of comparable products that is economically comparable to China, the agency said in a March 7 Federal Register notice.

Interested parties may request a public hearing on this review within 30 days, and the agency will issue the final results of its review within 120 days, the notice stated.
