HARRISBURG, Pa. (March 25, 2013) — The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is urging its Pennsylvania members to write their state legislators in support of House Bill 985, which would exempt counties with a population of less than 116,500 from requiring vehicle owners to have periodic emissions inspections.
The bill, sponsored by Rep. Garth Everett, R-84th District, was referred to the Pennsylvania House Committee on Transportation March 13. A link to the bill's text can be found on the SEMA Action Network website.
