DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (March 22, 2013) — Eight candidates are running for four open seats on the Board of Directors of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA).
Candidates for the office of chairman-elect are Doug Evans of Source Interlink Media and Tim Martin of K&N Engineering, SEMA said.
There are four candidates in the Manufacturers category: Al Azadi, Omix-ADA Inc./Rugged Ridge; Kyle Fickler, Weld Racing; Steve Matusek, Aeromotive Inc.; and Tim Watts, Superlift Suspension Services.
In the Manufacturer's Representative category, the candidates are Jeff Bates, Bob Cook Sales, and Greg Bernheisel, Considine Sales & Marketing.
Online voting for the SEMA board will be open from May 15 to June 11, SEMA said. All current SEMA member companies may vote, and only the member's designated primary contact may cast a vote. Winners will be announced after June 11 and formally inducted at the SEMA Installation Banquet in July.
