CYPRESS, Calif. (March 19, 2013) — Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. will unveil its M144 regional steer tire and medium truck tire iPad app at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky., March 21-23.
The tire will be available in two sizes, 305/70R22.5 and 315/80R22.5, beginning in April.
Toyo said the Toyo M144 regional steer tire was developed to deliver high mileage and is capable of being used in all positions. It provides competitive, low-cost mileage performance and better retreadability for both fleet operators and independent owner/drivers.
"The addition of the M144 to our line of premium commercial truck tires helps to further expand buying options for our dealers and fleet operators," said Roy Bromfield, Toyo's chief operating officer.
"Toyo Tires is dedicated to the commercial trucking industry with a broad line of specialized commercial tires, including SmartWay verified products, and increased global manufacturing in 2013."
The iPad App was developed specifically for the medium truck tire segment, according to Toyo, providing easy access to Toyo Tires product information including training, features, size and specifications and brochures. It can be used in a variety of training and selling environments including trade shows, sales meetings and dealer showrooms.
"Printed marketing materials are quickly dated as they are produced only a few times per year," said Amy Coleman, senior director of marketing for Toyo.
"Our new medium truck tire iPad App is a dynamic marketing tool that provides immediate access to the most current product information about our medium truck tires. This makes it easier to teach dealers, their staff, fleet operators and owner/operators about the benefits of Toyo tires."
Toyo Tires will have the M144 and iPad app on display at the MATS at Booth 16252.
