NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations L.L.C. (BATO) has added fitments for its Firestone Firehawk GT Pursuit all-season tire and Firehawk PVS winter tire line.
Both tires are specifically designed for law enforcement use, BATO said, with a nod to the demands of high-speed emergency situations.
The GT Pursuit combines wet and dry handling with an emphasis on quick steering response, the company said, while the PVS is designed to handle winter conditions, also emphasizing quick steering response.
Both tires are available in the following sizes: 50 series—P235/50R18 99W all-season; P235/50R18 99V winter; 55 series—245/55R18 102W all season, and 245/55R18 103V winter, both sizes available in the first half of 2013.
