ROSEMONT, Ill. (March 15, 2013) — The Automobile Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) will offer attendees, sponsors and presenters at the 2013 Aftermarket eForum a smartphone app for downloading.
"With the eForum app, attendees can keep up with the people and events of the industry's only conference devoted exclusively to business technology and e-commerce in the aftermarket," the AAIA said. "Users will have the very latest details of the agenda and be able to book appointments and reminders through the app."
The app will offer audience polls and surveys during the eForum, connecting speakers and attendees more interactively than ever before, AAIA said. Thanks to the app, eForum attendees can offer immediate feedback on papers and presentations, in lieu of traditional evaluation forms, it said.
The 2013 Aftermarket eForum is scheduled for May 22-23 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont. Registration is $450 for AAIA members and $650 for non-members.
The eForum is being held in conjunction with the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium, and attendees can save $250 by registering for both events, AAIA said.
