YARMOUTH, Maine (March 13, 2013) — The 2013 New England Tire and Service Association (NETSA) trade show will take place April 12-13 at the Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort in Uncasville, Conn.
NETSA members and other attendees will have free access to the trade show floor each day of the event, which NETSA called one of the largest automotive trade and training events in New England. It features a 20,000-sq.-ft. exhibit area with more than 100 booths and vendors offering tires, wheels, auto parts, lubricants, lifts, tire and alignment equipment and a variety of other products.
The list of guest speakers for the two-day event includes Todd Pickens, Goodyear's senior director of consumer sales; Jody DeVere, a national marketing personality from the "Ask Patty" network; Roy Littlefield, TIA's executive vice president, who will present the latest legislative news from Washington; and training and support professionals, who will discuss tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and marketing with social media.
In addition to the free tradeshow and seminars, attendees can purchase tickets for the annual luncheon meeting and NETSA's Hall Of Fame Reception & Dinner, taking place April 13. The reception will be followed by a scholarship auction.
NETSA will present hall of fame plaques to this year's three inductees: Anne S. Evans of EER Ltd.; James P. Melvin Sr. of Melvin's Tire Pros; and deceased inductee Timothy F. Haley of Haley's Tire & Service Centers.
Though participants can attend any of the free business development seminars, NETSA is recommending registering in advance. For Information or to pre-register, contact NETSA at 207-846-0986 or visit the NETSA website.
