"Fuel and tires are the top two expenses faced by heavy-duty operators. Combined with Fuller Brothers' Tire Life product, our tire pressure monitoring package delivers positive impacts across both of these cost categories."
Tire Life, Fuller Brothers' signature product, is a premium liquid formula designed to protect tires and eliminate wheel/rim loss due to scale and pitting, while improving air retention through its sealing qualities, according to the company's website. The product reduces tire failures, Fuller Brothers said, aids in the prompt identification of tire cuts and wheel/rim cracks and keeps tires running up to 7.5 percent cooler.
"The Fuller Brothers/Schrader partnership brings the best of tire protection via our Tire Life product, combined with the advanced tire pressure monitoring, asset management and analytics and the critical tools that the Schrader OTR portfolio offers. It's a win-win for our global customer base," said Morry Jones, vice president, Fuller Brothers.
Schrader showcased its global OTR product portfolio of TPMS, telematics for extensive tire data insight and heavy-duty tools at the Fuller Brothers booth during the OTR Conference.
Schrader said its OTR portfolio includes rugged tire pressure sensors specifically designed and installed within the harsh tire environment of heavy-duty machinery, earthmoving and other large capital equipment. The portfolio also offers the required hydraulic tools and repair accessories to service these extremely large and expensive tires.
Schrader recently disclosed a $10 million investment to increase capacity for TPMS components at its Springfield, Tenn., plant.
