ADDISON, Ill. (Feb. 27, 2013) — Hydraulics manufacturer KYB Americas Corp. has released the latest version of its KYB Certified Ride Control Center Kit.
The company said the kit is intended to make evaluating vehicle control conditions easier for automotive service providers and help them to accurately communicate those conditions to motorists.
In addition to point-of-sale materials, the kit integrates QR code and HD graphic animation technology, most of which are available on the new KYB Digital Media Library, the company said. The new multi-media library contains animations designed to help drivers understand what ride control does and how wear impacts vehicle performance.
The library includes a 15-minute training video to help shops earn more shock and strut sales and keep their customers in designed vehicle control. Participating service providers also will receive quarterly E-tips, updates and training via a dedicated channel within KYB.
Those who purchase the ride control center kit, complete a KYB training course, KYB said, and pass the online quiz can receive up to $100 in rebates.
KYB, a $4.2 billion global firm, employs more than 8,100 and sells its products in 100-plus countries. The supplier of shocks and struts to vehicle manufacturers also has a full range of domestic and import shocks and struts for the aftermarket.
