BEIJING (Feb. 14, 2013) — The value of China's aluminum wheel exports grew 10 percent last year to $4 billion (24.8 billion yuan), according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
Chinese wheel makers exported aluminum wheels to 175 countries and regions, with the U.S. the No. 1 destination, accounting for $1.7 billion, or 43 percent, of the nation's total wheel exports.
The report did not distinguish between wheels for cars and trucks.
Other major export markets are Japan, Russia, Canada and Mexico.
