BETHESDA, Md. (Feb. 1, 2013) — The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has issued its 2013 Digital Tool and Equipment Purchasing Trends report.
The two-part report provides an analysis of the purchasing decisions of professionals who use shop tools and equipment for automotive repairs, AAIA said. In addition to identifying numerous factors influencing tool and equipment purchases, the AAIA said the report explores equipment purchasers' utilization of the Internet as a purchasing medium.
Among other things, the report finds that the majority of tool and equipment purchasers used the Internet more for seeking information than for purchasing.
The report is available to AAIA members for $175 and to non-members for $350. To order a copy, visit the AAIA's website and click "Market Intelligence," or call AAIA market research at 301-654-6664.
