MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Jan. 4, 2013) — Showpower: Transmission/Undercar Expo 2013 will be held March 21-23 at the Memphis Cook Convention Center in Memphis and will include exhibits from leading suppliers of parts, tools, equipment and services.
Showpower 2013 also will have technical and business seminars that are designed to improve technician and shop personnel efficiency and professionalism in today's competitive market, said Michelle Dickemann, Showpower coordinator.
Showpower's seminar lineup includes:
- A special session detailing how aftermarket shops can compete with new-car-dealership service departments that use telematics to keep out-of-warranty vehicles in their service bays;
- A series of seminars on transmission diagnostics and repairs, including ZF 6HP19 and 6HP28 and Getrag DCT 450 and DCT 470 units; and
- Undercar sessions on the top 10 brake myths, air-fuel/wide-band sensors, direct gas injection, catalyst efficiency monitor comebacks and modern flat-tire tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) practices.
Management seminars include five keys to growing your business, handling Internet misinformation, selling value and branding your business.
Seminars are scheduled March 21-23; the exhibit floor is open March 22-23.
