ALLENTOWN, Pa. (June 15, 2012) — Aftersoft Network N.A.'s OpenWebs e-commerce supply chain business solution has recorded its busiest month ever, with more than 140,000 orders placed through the system in May.
OpenWebs, built on open architecture, uses web browser functionality to give customers a flexible e-commerce solution that integrates a wide range of business management software. The program, which now serves more than 6,200 active buyers per month, is designed to allow warehouse distributors, parts stores, tire wholesalers and tire and auto service shops to trade electronically with trade or retail customers, the company said.
May's record month saw a 56-percent increase in the number of transactions, said Aftersoft parent MAM Software Group, resulting in sales of $11.9 million for OpenWebs users.
“These landmark figures underline the success achieved through MAM's commitment to developing innovative online solutions,” said Mike Jamieson, CEO of MAM Software. “OpenWebs enables users to capitalize on the efficiencies and opportunities of electronic trading to reduce costs and increase revenue.”
