SECAUCUS, N.J. (Jan. 17, 2012) — With the Northeast 2012 Automotive Services Show approaching, show organizers are taking to social media to promote the event.
The event—being billed as the Northeast's largest automotive repair show—takes place March 9, 10 and 11 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus.
The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) is highlighting the 35th annual show's exhibitors on its Facebook page and via Twitter—@AASPNJNORTHEAST—on a daily basis.
Show organizers said they have expanded the event's Web presence significantly over the last four years. “The Internet is an integral part of everyday business,” AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell said. “For something like the Northeast show, a major Web presence is not only necessary, but a necessity.”
Mr. McDowell said online registration has risen over 75 percent since the show moved to the Meadowlands. “Each year, we have looked to branch out more and more with regard to getting the word out about the show. And the results speak for themselves,” he said. “Our continued growth in attendance can definitely be attributed in large part to Internet marketing as well as traditional avenues.”
According to the AASP/NJ, the show offers a full slate of educational and training seminars on the latest topics trending in the industry along with the latest in equipment and technology.
