RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (Jan. 12, 2011) — Kumho Tire USA Inc. has returned for its second consecutive season as the official tire of the National Basketball Association's Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat teams.
The partnerships will include advertising elements such as in-arena signage, full-page game program ads and digital ads on the teams' websites and Facebook pages. Other integrated exposure opportunities include signage on the Lakers' center scorer's table, LED ribbon and main scoreboard and a dedicated Kumho fan zone concession area and concourse area TV commercials and signage in American Airlines Arena.
Kumho's sports marketing platform includes partnerships with the National Football League's New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, the U.S. Soccer Federation and the University of Southern California football team. Other global sponsorships by the tire maker include the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks; the Hamburger SV soccer team in Germany's Bundesliga; the Austrian Football League's SK Rapid Wien team; and the Australian Football League's Adelaide Crows team.
