CONCORD, N.H. (Jan. 11, 2012) — The Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) has released a video of its “Be Tire Smart” mascot, Phillip T. Tire, campaigning for the U.S. presidency in New Hampshire on the day of that state's presidential primary on the platform, “America Needs Inflation!”
The RMA has designed Phillip's campaign as a reminder to the nation's motorists that proper tire inflation and care are crucial to vehicle safety and performance, tire life, cost savings and energy conservation.
