LAS VEGAS (Nov. 11, 2011) — Lee Kadrich, retired vice president-government affairs and trade for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), was one of four individuals honored for service to the aftermarket at the Auto International Association's 2011 AIA People Awards in Las Vegas Nov. 2.
Mr. Kadrich, who retired in January 2011 after 29 years with AAIA, received the AIA's Hall of Fame Award. Other winners included:
- Dan Lelchuk, Centric Parts, AIA Person of the Year Award;
- C.R. “Dick” Berreman, Berreman & Co., and Chris von Lenski, CRP Industries Inc., Lifetime Industry Achievement Awards; and
- Brian Griffin III, Interamerican Motor Corp., Young Executive of the Year Award.
The AIA is the AAIA's import segment. Each year, through the AIA People Awards, it honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the automotive aftermarket. AIA members submit nominations for the awards.
