LAS VEGAS (Nov. 1, 2011) — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is partnering with Tiremetrix L.L.C., a Michigan software company, to co-develop an enhanced digital version of Tiremetrix's TPMS Manager subscription software using TIA's extensive TPMS training and video library.

“We share the same fundamental objective, to help the tire retailer get the critical information needed to service TPMS-equipped vehicles,” said Kevin Rohlwing, TIA senior vice president of training.

Tiremetrix's TPMS Manager offers a digital platform that will allow TIA to expand its technical support to the industry on a regular basis, Mr. Rohlwing said, referring to the association's relearn chart.

The new version, “TPMS Manager-Powered by TIA,” will combine Tiremetrix's existing TPMS Manager data and software platform with TIA's resources.

Tiremetrix President Joe Donehue said, “Our industry-neutral platform allows all TPMS stakeholders to plug into our software and deliver their parts and service information downstream to the end user…. Until now, TPMS complexity in parts, systems and compatibility, scan tool requirements and vehicle relearn procedures has been daunting for most tire dealers.”

Set for release later this year, TPMS Manager-Powered by TIA will be available on a monthly subscription basis. TIA members will receive special pricing, but it is available to non-members as well.

Current TIA subscribers to TPMS Manager will automatically roll over to the Powered by Tia version upon release.
