FONTANA, Calif. (July 11, 2011) — Falken Tire Corp. has promoted Andrew Hoit to vice president of marketing.
Mr. Hoit entered the tire industry in 1994 with National Tire Warehouse in the Atlanta market and joined Falken Tire in 2007 as division manager, retail sales. He most recently served as director of marketing.
Falken President and CEO Richard Smallwood noted that Mr. Hoit “has demonstrated the characteristics of a great leader…one who can help us achieve our ambitious targets and continually move the brand forward.”
He said Mr. Hoit will continue to oversee all strategies relating to Falken's marketing and advertising initiatives, as well as long term positioning objectives.
