Dayton Progress has launched its DAYLube high-performance grease, which uses nanoceramic particles that act as sub-microscopic ball bearings to provide continuous lubrication on steel surfaces, the company said.
DAYLube, which is NSF-H1 food grade certified, is ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, including the protection of bearings, bushings cables, cams, chains, conveyors, gears, machine parts and wear plates.
Dayton said the product has a much lower coefficient of friction than traditional PTFE greases, making it environmentally friendly. It maintains its viscosity across a full temperature range and shows no evidence of breaking down, even after 100,000 production strokes.
DAYLube operates within a range of -40 to 800 degrees Fahrenheit, and its nanoceramic particles remain intact up to 2,500 degrees.
The product also has high load-bearing properties, doesn't contain metal or silicone and is resistant to steam, acids and most chemical products, Dayton said. It is available in 16-ounce tubes and jars and 5-gallon pails.

Hunter Engineering Co. has unveiled the OCL430HD rotor lathe, designed to improve medium- and heavy-duty service by machining rotors while they're still attached to the vehicle.
Hub-mounted service eliminates the need to disassemble the hub to remove the rotor. It also reduces run-out, Hunter said, allowing for a more precise cut and extending rotor life.
The OCL430HD includes the same operational features as Hunter's OCL410 light-vehicle brake lathe but adds more robust components to handle larger rotors. It can resurface rotors up to 17.5 inches in diameter and up to 3.5 inches in thickness. A 1.5-horsepower, 230 VAC motor provides additional torque required for larger vehicles.
The product features Hunter's patented ServoDrive system, which allows technicians to vary the spindle speed and rotational torque of the lathe while it is operating without compromising the final surface finish.
Hunter also offers a full selection of adaptors and accessories to match OE specifications of medium- and heavy-duty vehicle hubs and rotors.

Federal-Mogul Corp.'s MOOG steering and suspension product line has added 42 parts covering millions of late-model foreign and domestic nameplate passenger vehicles.
The MOOG brand said it is offering hundreds of exclusive “Problem Solver” parts that are easy to install and provide performance and durability.
Among the latest MOOG product introductions are left and right rear sway bar link kits (K750369 and K750370, respectively) for 2009 Ford Flex and 2009-2010 Taurus and Taurus SHO models and 2009 Lincoln MKS and 2010 Lincoln MKT models.
The new MOOG sway bar links feature the brand's patented powdered metal “gusher” bearing design, which allows grease to flow through the bearing face for smooth socket movement and durability, according to MOOG.
The product line expansion also includes several new control arms, tie rod ends, control arm bushings and kits, sway bar bushing kits, additional sway bar link kits and other parts for popular late-model vehicles ranging from the Acura TSX to the Toyota RAV4. Three new MOOG control arm bushings alone cover more than 2 million Buick Rainier (2004-2007) and Chevrolet TrailBlazer (2002-2009) models.
Other vehicle nameplates covered by the new parts are Audi, Chrysler, Dodge, Honda, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Pontiac and Saab.Sealants
Pathway Polymers Inc. has launched TyrFil Sealant, designed to extend the life of heavy-duty equipment tires.
The product, available exclusively through Pathway Polymers, is available in a heavy-duty formula and a cold weather formula, which is effective in temperatures as low as -35 degrees Fahrenheit, the company said.
The sealant is capable of permanently sealing punctures up to 3/8-inch in diameter, preventing rust, lubricating the rims and keeping tires running at cooler temperatures. It is available in 6-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums and 330-gallon totes.

The Bosch Group has launched the Bosch Evolution premium-grade, all-season bracketless wiper blades.
The blades, constructed using a proprietary rubber compound that stands up to grit and windshield debris, is designed to exert uniform pressure against windshield glass. There is no exposed metal framework, preventing the blades from getting clogged with snow and ice.
Features of the Bosch Evolution blades include a graphite-treated, precision-cut wiping edge made with natural rubber; a symmetrical wind spoiler to channel airflow for creating down force and protecting tension springs from snow and ice build-up; and dual precision-tensioned internal steel springs for creating tension memory.
The product is positioned in the company's product portfolio between the Bosch ICON and Bosch EXCEL+ blades.
